The interaction with equity market operators represents a crucial activity for listed companies or for future listing companies.

The company is responsible for creating shareholder value; Investor Relations is responsible for having it recognized in the company valuation.

The level of trust and reliability that a firm is deemed to hold among investors, and more broadly in the financial community, depends in fact from the relationship between the firm and its stakeholders.

Pirelli Investor Relations activities can be summarized as follows:
  • providing information about the Company to financial markets' in order to enable investors to properly value the company share and other capital instruments, and to gain their support for the strategy of the company;

  • company's evaluating in the light of competitors benchmarking;

  • information gathering from different operators to provide management with a clear and complete overview of Group's market assessment
Pirelli is particularly focused on events with the financial community involving Group's top management, such as Conference calls (for the group's of results), meetings with investors and brokers and road shows in the most important marketplaces worldwide.

Given the central role of Pirelli Investor Relation, its activities are carried out under the direct control of CEO.
